November 2008 – Novus Aviation successfully completed the sale of two B767-200s. Novus Aviation Group sourced the buyer and arranged the transaction.

November 9, 2008 - Charles F. Yeterian, Vice President Leasing & Finance at Novus Aviation, was a speaker at the Debt Capital Markets Summit in Dubai. The summit highlighted changes and opportunities of the growing GCC debt capital markets.

November 6, 2008 - Novus Aviation was a sponsor at the 9th Annual Asia-Pacific Airfinance Conference in Hong Kong. Hani Kuzbari, Vice President Investments at Novus Aviation, participated in a panel discussion entitled “Operating Leases: How will they grow?”.

October 13, 2008 - Novus Aviation was a sponsor at the 6th Annual Middle East and Africa Airfinance Conference that took place in Dubai. Charles F. Yeterian, Vice President Leasing & Finance at Novus Aviation, was a speaker in a panel that discussed key growth drivers of the operating leasing market in the Middle East. The conference covered information on the aviation industry in the Middle East as well as the recent challenges faced by the global economy.

June 9, 2008 - Novus Aviation acquires for the account of Falak 1 B737-800 aircraft (MSN 29639) from RBS on lease to Jet Airways. Falak is the aviation fund co-sponsored by UIB, Bahrain and Novus/ MPL, and managed by Novus Aviation. This transaction brings Falak’s portfolio to a total of 11 aircraft.

April 29, 2008 - Following the success of its first year of operation, FALAK Investments Ltd. (FALAK) invited selected GCC investors to participate in its flourishing aircraft leasing venture. FALAK's road show took place in Dubai on April 22, 2008 at Al Murooj Rotana Hotel, in Kuwait on April 23, 2008 at J.W. Marriott Hotel and in Qatar on April 24, 2008 at Inter-Continental Hotel. more

April 15, 2008 - Novus Aviation arranged extension of the lease on B767-300ER for a term of 5 years, starting June 2009 between Muzun Lease One and Air Madagascar.

Charles F. Yeterian, Vice President Leasing & Finance at Novus Aviation, took part in the "Aircraft Leasing and Finance" conference in Singapore from 28th - 30th of April 2008. Charles was a moderator at the "Industry Outlook Panel Addressing Key Challenges in Aircraft Leasing & Finance" on the 29th of April at 09:15am, and spoke on the "Potential Islamic Financing for Aircraft" on the 30th of April 2008 at 09:00am.

March 28, 2008 - Novus Aviation acquires one A321-200 (MSN 2799) from RBS with lease to BMI, for the account of Falak.Falak is the aviation fund co-sponsored by UIB, Bahrain and Novus/MPL, and managed by Novus Aviation. Novus Aviation sourced, arranged financing and structured the transaction. Falak Aviation fund is due to be launched in Bahrain in April 2008.

March 12, 2008 - Novus Aviation acquires for the account of Falak two E145 aircraft from RBS with leases to Flybe. These are 2 of 5 aircraft in a larger portfolio being acquired by Falak. Falak is the aviation fund co-sponsored by UIB, Bahrain and Novus/ MPL, and managed by Novus Aviation. Falak Aviation fund is due to be launched in Bahrain later this month.

Charles Yeterian, VP Leasing and Finance at Novus Aviation, was a speaker at 'The 22nd Annual Geneva International Forum' which was held on 26 - 29 February 2008, in Geneva. Mr. Yeterian spoke on "Special Solutions for Leasing and Getting an Airline Airborne - The Wet Lease". Other delegates from Novus also joined the event.

January 24, 2008 - Novus Aviation was a sponsor of the 10th Annual European Airfinance Conference, in Dublin. Marie Gauchenot, Solicitor and Vice President joined as a speaker in a panel discussion on operating leases.
