Novus Aviation Capital completes the sale and leaseback of two Boeing 737 MAX 8 with flydubai

Dubai, United Arab Emirates  28th July 2021:  Novus Aviation Capital, today announced it has completed the sale  and leaseback of two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, carrying a list price of over USD 240 million,  with flydubai. The two aircraft were delivered to flydubai at the end of June 2021. The completion of this transaction further expands Novus’ portfolio and customer base and showcases its continued support to its airline customers globally covering competitive operating and finance lease transactions.

Commenting on the transaction, Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer of flydubai, said: “we would like to thank the team at Novus Aviation Capital for the support that they have extended to us for the sale and leaseback for the two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft delivered in June.  Sale and leaseback is integral to our financing strategy and although this is our first transaction that we have completed together we hope that there will be an opportunity to do more in the future.”
