Novus closes purchase and leaseback of two new A320neos with IndiGo

Novus Aviation Capital, a leading global aircraft leasing platform, has announced the acquisition of two Airbus A320neo aircraft with onward lease to IndiGo.The first aircraft was delivered to IndiGo in August 2018 and the second aircraft delivered during the first week of December. The successful conclusion of this transaction with one of India’s leading airlines further expands Novus’ portfolio and customer base.

“We are delighted to have concluded this transaction with one of India’s leading airlines. With this transaction, we are adding a new valuable partner airline client to Novus’ growing customer base as well as increasing our share of new technology aircraft within our portfolio” commented Hani Kuzbari, Novus’ Managing Director. “Despite challenges in airlines’ operating environment, India is experiencing tremendous passenger growth, and is a market where Novus will be looking to widen its footprint in the near future” he added.
