Novus closes purchase and leaseback of two new A321s with Vietjet

Novus Aviation
Capital has successfully closed the purchase and leaseback of two brand new
Airbus A321-200 aircraft, MSN 8061 and MSN 8076, with Vietjet airline of
Vietnam. The two aircraft were delivered to Vietjet in January 2018 and are on
long-term leases. This transaction is part of a larger deal between the two
companies that would see multiple aircraft deliveries over the next 12 months.

“We are pleased
to complete our first operating lease transaction with Vietjet. The airline is
experiencing impressive growth with promising future plans on the back of a
thriving tourism scene in the country, which has been witnessing a spurt in the
number of both inbound and outbound travelers. We are delighted to add Vietjet
to our growing list of customers and we believe this transaction will further
drive our business growth and market expansion,” said Hani Kuzbari, Managing
Director at Novus.
