Novus Aviation Capital and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank co-sponsored an aviation forum tailored to Japanese financial institutions based in Hong Kong. The forum is part of Novus’s on-going strategy to educate and enhance awareness of aircraft financing/leasing fundamentals to Asia based investors and lenders. The forum was well attended by over twenty Japanese institutions, including regional banks.
In order to give a more comprehensive overview of the aviation industry, the sponsors also invited Boeing Capital and Clifford Chance to speak at the forum. The topics covered were current market outlook and Boeing introduction, basics of legal aspects of aircraft financing, aircraft operating lease market and aircraft secured debt finance.
